I originally wrote this poem on a paper towel because I had nothing else to write on.
by Alannah Joy Michaud
As I listen to the birds about,
Sing their morning tune;
I close my eyes,
I want to join in, too.
What could give more inspiration
Than a playful melody;
Oh, how I long,
To sing a song,
'Tis a song that sounds so sweet,
That tears form in my eyes;
Composed with love,
From heav'n above,
God's creatures sing with pride.
